About Me
My Inspiration
Greetings. My name is Daria, Charlotte NC based Bridal and Wedding Assistant. I have over 20 yrs of hospitality experience, professionalism, and customer service. I hold an Associate’s Degree in Business, a Small Business Entrepreneurship Certification, and am currently pursuing my Bachelor’s in Finance. I have always had a passion for organization and planning. That passion and energy that I have put into events over the years has called me to pour that same passion and energy into exceptional services for you. ​

​ When I started planning my own wedding, I loved it! However, as the bride to be, it became overwhelming. There were plenty of times when I thought, "I really don't have the time to do this! I wish someone could help or just do it for me!" Trying to make calls and arrange things from work was frustrating. And as a working mom of an active teenager at the time, there just didn't seem to be enough hours in a day.
Although my husband and I had a superb wedding coordinator, she had her hands so deep in the decor part of it and making sure it was everything we asked for and more, she really didn't have time for the "other stuff". (i.e hotel booking, answer multiple guest questions, coordinating the bridal party and appointments.) I started to feel burnt out, and at times it was very difficult to juggle it all. Then I thought, there has to be other busy and overwhelmed brides out there feeling or that will feel the same way!

With that being said, I founded "The Bridal Sidekick, LLC".
I am here to do "the other stuff" for you. I have met and worked with leading experts and well respected vendors, so I am a one stop shop. With me, you will have access to a wedding decorator, caterer, photographer, videographer, DJ, bartender, etc. I can do as much or as little as you want. How involved I am is up to you. But one thing for certain is that I am passionate about what I do. My mission is to substantially lessen the stress of your wedding planning experience built on a foundation of honesty and fairness.

Research venues and schedule tours/consultations

Preferred vendor recommendations or will research others for you.

Arrange hotel blocks for out-of-town guests

Keep the bridal party on task with their roles & duties leading up to and on the wedding day

Maintain wedding website and keep track of RSVP's and guest questions

Provide bride monthly to-do list and wedding day checklist

Up to 4 in person check-ins

Unlimited video/phone check-ins

Venue walkthrough with wedding decorator and vendors

Same day assistance up to 8 hrs.

Inital consultation with all vendors to review contracts, insurance information, arrival times, and any other relevant details

Coordinate with all vendors and contact venue at least 1 week prior to the wedding to confirm arrival times and other details

Greet all vendors upon arrival and be their point of contact throughout the day

Schedule bride, groom, and wedding party consults (i.e. wedding day attire fittings, cake and menu tastings, make-up appointments, photo shoots)

Access to wedding day emergency kit​
